Cayberry Cock oft North

The first photo shows Smot at 13 months. He is an outstanding bright bay gelding, now four years old with personality +++! He loves attention, loves to play and is great fun to have around the stud. He is by the very famous performance stallion Super Premium Shilstone Rocks D Day ex Metherall Lark.

Sadly, due to having developed 'sweet-itch' he is currently unshown, which is a real pity because he is of the highest quality, is a natural show-off and has plenty of bone, very correct confirmation and fantastic movement with a natural scopey jump.

He was one of the very last colts sired by the illustrious Shilstone Rocks D Day who was Sire Of The Year in 1997, 2nd in 1998, tied 1st in 1999, 1st again in 2000 and winner of The Cherry progeny trophy. Sire of the year again in 2004 and Reserve in 2006. Smot's half-brothers Shilstone Rocks Warlord and Shilstone Rocks Snowfox are also major winners at both Olympia and HOYS.

Smot has just been backed (March 2011) by Jo Heaton of Balanced Horsemanship and has taken to being ridden with bags of enthusiasm. Photo taken 10 days after backing, jumping cross-country. Clearly Smot is destined for great things!
